A friend had an older XP laptop that needed a full rebuild. But Microsoft has decided, with the 'end of life' of XP, they actually *eliminated* all the XP content on WindowsUpdate. I mean, they own HOW many server farms?? I had COA'S for Win7 from several old machines, so I ordered this to let me redo this old Toshiba. Insert disk, boot up, select install version, and Voila! (OK, "voila" after several hours of interminable processing by an OLD cpu) The process completed normally, activation was successful, no complaints at all. Our friends are grateful to have a working system again. And I like having a vanilla install option, without all the bloatware. As I'm pretty set on staying on Win7, this will likely see many more uses. Highly recommended!

So here is my story, my Dell Optiplex 780 (Windows 7 Home Premium) got a virus. Now this was not recent. Since March 2016!!! Over a year and my Mom didn't let me order stuff at the time, so this is one of my first times ordering on eBay or any online service. (Actually my third time!!!) And this what I mainly targeted because I really wanted to use my pc after so long! So I ordered this, factory reseted my pc, then now I installed Windows 7 Ultimate instead! You are the best!!! Worked exactly as described. I was able to reinstall my laptops with their original windows software without a hitch. As long as you have the original serial number, usually located on the base of your laptop, you're good to go. The additional driver disk included with the reinstall disk was a great addition.
