After gaming for about 15 minutes, I could feel heat and hear the fan wind up from 2 feet away through the mesh side panel of my case. The performance was great for $100 though, so once those issues are addressed, this would be a fantastic card. There was no stop fan control at idle, so the fan was always running, There was also an intermittent squeak or chirp, most likely coil whine. All this in a card less in length than a DVD/Blu-Ray case.

Even 4 years later if you manage to get one of those R9 Nano's for under $99, it is an incredible value for money, all modern games with medium to high settings at 1080P can be plaid without an issue! Particularly great for smaller cases and office PC conversions.

This card has amazing performance for the age/generation it is. I was able to put Destiny 2 on ultra quality and at UHD, it is smooth as glass. I have the card installed in an old HP Z620 with two Xeon processors (10 cores each) and 64GB of DDR3 ECC RAM, so while the computer is powerful it is not quite what you would expect in a gaming rig (I use it primarily for Android development under Linux). However, this video card has less power requirements and more performance than many others. All in all, I am very pleased with my $100 refurb!
