    Great value monitor for an extended display.

    I purchased one of these about 3-6 months ago for my husband to use as an extended display with his MacBook Pro. He loved it. I just purchased another one to use at my work, because I liked it so much. It has a really decent picture and sound quality for such a low price, and if you are looking for a 27" display with the added bonus of built-in speakers and two HDMI inputs, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

    Speakers are terrible for this monitor

    One of the decision makers was that this monitor has speakers, well sound is awful, terrible and also it suppose to have an audio output which I was not able to make it work at all. Still this is a monitor and image is the most important and is decent on this regard. Still I am regretting about buying this one.

    Great bang for your buck!

    This a great monitor if you can find it for the right price. I paid $150 for a manufactured refurbished model and it looks brand new! The build quality is excellent, metal stand, solid connections, and a beautifully slims and lightweight monitor. I am using it with a Macbook Air and the image quality and color reproduction definitely does the Mac justice. Pulling up 1080p or 4k videos really allows the monitor to shine. In full screen mode you will see some pixelation, but that is expected for a monitor of this size and at this price. I primarily use it for document drafting, web surfing and watching TV/movies and it does not disappoint! Another nice feature is the speakers. Other HP models offer the same or similar features and specs, but do not include speakers or even a speaker ...

    Good, not great, well priced

    I bought one of these refurbished and like it. It is not exceptionally high-resolution (HD 1080p only), which about the limit of what you can put on a 27" monitor before you can see the pixels. That being said, the quality is good, the color is smooth, and overall build quality is fine. I liked it enough that I bought 2 more so that I would have three monitors all the same.
