For $140, you can't beat this monitor. 144Hz and 1ms response time make this the cheapest option by far. The display isn't IPS, so viewing angles are not amazing, but that's expected and the screen is more than good enough. Honestly, the viewing angles aren't even that bad, so it's nothing to worry about. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would buy it again/recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, cheap gaming monitor.

I love this product, 24in is perfect and the monitor is relatively nice. While the colors lean more to the 'warm' side, it's easy to readjust everything to a good comfortable setting. I would've given this five stars, however ACER gave me the incorrect cable to wire this to my computer, therefore I cannot use the primary function I had wanted; 144hz. I had to order a new cable and everything which cost me an extra $11. This really is dumb because when you try to use 144hz on your computer, the monitor itself will display a huge annoying, non removable blue box that says "USE THE CABLE THAT CAME WITH YOUR MONITOR", and I mean I was, so. I am disappointed with that aspect.

This monitor is beautiful, has great image quality, an anti-glare layer which is a huge plus for me, good color, AMAZING value, and just everything that you could possibly want in a monitor all for $140. It is super well designed and I love the VESA mount compatibility, even though the ports come out of the back so the monitor has to be slightly extended from the wall (which I don't mind cause I want it to be closer to my face). 1080p is the perfect resolution for 24" and it also helps with game fps. The only problem isn't even with the monitor. When this item was shipped to me, Acer sent the wrong cable (single-link DVI instead of dual-link) so I had to spend an extra $10 to get the right cable. But either way this monitor is amazing!

I just received this monitor and it doesn't come with the necessary cables to run 144hz but other than that 1080p is perfect for 24". It doesn't come with a vesa mount either so watch out with that. I would recommend it if you just trying to get into 144hz gaming but please note you need to buy a Display Port cable or Dual Link DVI.

I got this monitor to replace a dying one and am honestly disappointed. It is so bright it hurts your eyes, and everything seems washed out by the brightness. I tried Disney's WoW calibration blu-ray disc, but couldn't use it as the pattern it uses for brightness and also contrast didn't even reach the ideal marker. It is hard to explain, but for example on the brightness test there is a checker pattern with ideal white in the middle. You are supposed to see the pattern all the way up to the middle where ideal white is supposed to wash out the pattern. This monitor made that test impossible as the pattern was washed out 1/3 of the way across (regardless of changing the brightness and contrast settings) and therefore didn't even reach the middle. I then purchased a colorimeter meant for calibrating displays to try and help out, but the display was so bright that even with the brightness set at 0 it could not dim down to the colorimeter's optimal brightness recommendation. With all of the above in mind, this is a budget monitor. It displays ok picture and even is 3dvision compatible. I'll keep it as my 2nd screen, but will probably phase it out as soon as I can. You get what you pay for in screens so save up for a better one if you can. This one just can't be calibrated to any reasonable settings.Read full review
