I use about a gallon of resin a week. I have a small business and I make all sorts of things with resin including sun catchers with stained glass, tables, stepping stones, fairy houses, etc. I am a die hard resin fan. I have tried every resin I can get my hands on. Including UV cure resins, art resin, bar top resin etc. The UV resins have their uses, but are not great for my needs. They are better for small repairs. To cut to the chase, after much trial and error and experimenting I have found that there are two brands of resin that I will use. It's very, very important that what I use be durable, scratch resistant, uv resistant and dependable. For years that was Easy Cast. However, a few weeks ago I was out of that (I thought I had another gallon in the garage. I did not. ) and it usually takes forever for it to be delivered. So I ordered the Easy Cast but also ordered this resin to try it out. I liked that it was also a 1:1 mix. I'm sold. It is almost odorless and the very little smell it does have is not at all noxious. It is thicker than the other brand which makes working with it somewhat easier. It isn't quite as easy to make a huge mess with it, glue your eyelid open or get it on the cat. It still has a pretty; long open time but as opposed to 24 hours like most of the other epoxy products it is just several hours. Less if you apply heat. This is great because it allows me to come back and make any changes I may want to make or, if I am in a hurry I can be sure it will have cured totally overnight. I have (knock on wood) not had a single batch not mix well or had any issues with it being too soft, being sticky or otherwise not cure well. It dries nice and clear although I had some trouble with tiny air bubbles. Because this has happened only a couple of times and more often than not I end up with what I call a "perfect pour" I know that it must me something I am doing differently and I am still experimenting with what that may be. The price is about half as much as the other brand of epoxy I use and this seller ships very quickly. I have been nothing but happy with this.Read full review

I have bought several of these to use on my kitchen counters. After I painted the countertops, I applied the epoxy resin. This is super easy to use, applies great!!! Fantastic shine!! My countertops looks just like granite now, at a fraction of the cost!!! I would highly recommend this!!

This was the first time I've ordered Resin and it worked extremely well. My only issue was on the website for measuring the product. It would be nice if they gave you a measurement in ounces or ml vs. gallons. BUT product was awesome.

I am still a novice using epoxy resin since only have used different brands about a dozen times. They all seem to produce the same end results. This product by far is at least 1/2 price of other products I have purchased. Self levelling aspect is great and also gives more working time when at the lower end of the temperature working temperature (70 degrees Fahrenheit) this is a great aid in cleaning drips/runs on sides of table sides. The instructions are bang on but I add one more step; after initial mixing I pour contents into anther container and stir once again to prevent and product not being well mixed. This is my go to product from here forward.

I built my own quilting table with a drop down for my juki to be flush. I needed a scratch resistant but smooth as silk top and this is what I chose to do. I couldn't be happier with the results. I did not use as much as they stated I needed however. I did a seal coat and only used half the amount that was recommended to do so and the rest went to waste. I then topped it 3 times and still have 1/4 gallon left over. This was a 50"x26" table with 3" trim. You will see by the images I drew onto the table and trim free motion quilting designs. I did this with oil based paint markers by Sharpie. While the top came out perfect the trim did not. If you plan do do something like me I suggest you clear coat it first if it isn't on a flat level surface. For some reason the reds and black ran even though thoroughly dry before the bar top epoxy was applied. I believe it was a chemical reaction and gravity to be the culprit. Keep scraping the runoff as well until it stops running or you will have to file it off or used a Dremel cut off tool (this is what I used). In hindsight I wish I sat with it and did so because getting rid of the drip line was a very messy job and could have been avoided. I could not find any information on ProMarine website about it and wasn't sure what was best to do. **Unfortunately Ebays photo upload isn't working :(Read full review
