For general purpose, this monitor is great! I purchased this monitor to connect to my laptop as it only has a 14" screen. This monitor does not have HDMI, but the quality through VGA and DVI ports is still pretty good. I purchased this product for about $80, so I can say it was a pretty good deal. I do some gaming, such as StarCraft II, League of Legends and sometimes even Sims 3. And this monitor does great with them. Of course the image is a bit pixelated, but that is because I my graphics card can only push 1366 x 768 resolution graphics. So, I expect it to be better for other users. For everyday use, this monitor is an absolute must have.
