This router is normally over 100 dollars. I got it for about 60. Linksys makes a great product. I was using a Netgear AC router. This has more control over settings. I would differently recommend this router if you want a great high speed wireless network in your house

I have set up quite a few routers and this one was not the easiest to set up. I have had off-brand routers that were much easier to set up than this one. I also didn't like that it only offered a guest network in the 2.4 ghz frequency and not the 5 ghz frequency, as well. I have found some brand new similar routers for less than I paid for this refurbished one and have requested a return authorization. I would not recommend this router, since I don't think the value is worth the price I paid.

This router is a great product, I love that I can stream 4k on multiple devices at one time without hardly any buffer if any at all, I really, really recommend this router if you are on a budget and want that great performance without emptying your pocket. The only bad thing that I see about this router is that it doesn't support third party firmwares so a recommendation is to have your network hidden.

I set it up using the easy-to-follow instructions included and had everything plugged in in no time, but had some hiccups configuring the network once the router was up and running. For one, the instructions I saw said to use the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi website to set it up, but it turns out that this particular router isn't a Smart Router, so you have to go use the IP address to configure it. Then the signal kept dropping, although to be fair, this may have been the ISP/modem, because we had just switched that out as well. Usually rebooting both the modem and the router got the signal working again, which we figured out after calling Linksys's customer service one time. I wasn't on hold at all and the person was patient and knowledgeable. After that, I also checked the help articles on Linksys's website, and configured the router settings as recommended by the article to minimize interference. After this, the wifi signal kept dropping, at first every 15 minutes or so, then every 30 mins or 1 hour, then every few hours, and so on until after about 4 or 5 days it no longer dropped at all. That said, the customer service was excellent, it wasn't too much of a hassle to unplug/plug back in the modem and router every now again, and it only lasted for a few days. For the excellent price, I certainly don't mind a bit of work on my end. And we've got the best internet speed we've ever had. To be honest I thought (and have read) that getting the speed advertised by your Internet Service Provider was either impossible or only achievable via wired ethernet connections, but I consistently get the speed that the ISP caps our internet at from two or three rooms away (from where the router is). Pretty sure range easily covers the entire house, and even though the router is at the very back of the house, I've gotten a good signal on my phone from the street at the front of the house. TL;DR: Really, this is the best router I've ever had, and I would absolutely choose it again. If you're willing and able to take a bit of extra time to get it up and running at first, I would 100% recommend this as a great router for a great price.Read full review

One on the best routers out there with all the features a geek would need. Also very easy to configure by anyone for everyday use without trouble and stable signal. If u want better speed in yiur local network over wifi invest in 2x2 wifi adapter which will give you 866Mbps compared to regular wifi which will do 433Mbps.
