    EX4200 - performs far beyond its cisco equivalent & costs half as much!

    These switches are absolutely phenomenal when put up against cisco's closest offering - a cat 3750X-48T. First off, you get JunOS. This means, naturally, that you don't have to use IOS :) Getting down to brass tacks and focusing on the EX4200's, these guys are great when configured in the virtual-chassis setup that Juniper allows. It provides for a variety of network design types and schema, and excels at allowing the administrator to manage multiple members through a single management (out of or in-band) session. The Switches perform at near line-rate switching speeds, and when folding in any type of IGP such as OSPF one doesn't see that much processor or memory bloat. I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone considering a virtualization initiative - they ...
