I'd previously purchased one of these at a swapmeet - cheap. It worked for several years, but finally part of the print head failed. AFAIK, no replacement parts are available, so it went to recycling. Until then, it was very useful. You'll need to read the instruction manual (available readily on-line) to know how to use some more advanced features, multi-line, different fonts, etc., but basic label printing is pretty straight-forward - just read the keyboard. It would have been nice to have a more detailed display - The label tape may need some extra adhesive, depending on what you're trying to label (they didn't stick so well on a crinkle-paint finish tool box, but worked well for labeling cables, or on a smooth varnished surface). For the price, this is a nifty handy tool - much more versatile than a Dymo (trademarked) label maker, and does a much nicer job. Label tape stock is readily available from a number of sources.Read full review

This is my second KL750. The first one suffered from corroded batteries after 15 years of good service. Although the display window is small, it is clear and easy to read and the printing is excellent in several font sizes.
