Older generation but worked good for me and my use.

The board was a little pricey but I checked good value because I used my older fx 6300 cpu, GTX 1060 and 16 GB of ddr3 ram. It also upgraded me to 3.0 usb which is what I needed for faster file transfers. Installed everything and it booted right up with no problems. Does everything I need, I occasionally play World of Tanks and have a couple games for my grandson, they play fine at 1080. Along with some light video, pic editing and general internet use everything works good and should be fine for me a couple more years. I like the micro atx form factor and transferred components from a older pc to this board but if I were to build completely new I would have used a board for the newer generation cpu's and ddr4 ram.

  • Great board but it does have some caveats.

This board isn't THAT bad overall contrary to other reviews on the web. It does however have its' drawbacks. 1) CPU Voltage This is locked based on the maximum reported by the processor only. Up to that point you have only +75mv worth of offset to work with as the offset only gives half of what you select (up to +150mv). There is additionally no offset for CPU-NB and only voltage selection up to the reported processor maximum. Board starts off with a -40mv loss in the selected voltage instead of meeting what was set. 2) FSB overclock Despite the many claims on the web this board isn't bad for FSB overclocking. Supposedly it only reaches up to 220mhz. However, this board is currently running at 285mhz FSB without issues and has been tested upwards of 300mhz without issue. 3) Ram ...

  • Lovely Motherboard

It's a great motherboard to use in the small form factor. It does run the AM3+ FX eight (8) core CPU. I'm using the FX-8300 with DDR3-1600. The performance is great. All the ports and connections work great using Linux Debian based operating system. Pleased with the motherboard which is expandable. It is made of good quality with wonderful sound.

  • Functionally and financially I found this mobo to be a good replacement form my dead 890GXM-G65

This micro-ATX motherboard is compatible with my AMD Phenom II X6 1090T processor. The 4x USB3 ports AMD 970/990FX + SB950 chipsets make the board a noticeable upgrade from my previous mobo (AMD 890GX+SB850 with 1x USB3). This board has no video output, however, it has 2x PCIe 2.0 16x slots for a video card installation and supports CrossFireX. The low level software is UEFI, which is more user friendly than regular BIOS.

  • Great board for most builds!

Inexpensive, fast with multi-core AMD's and memory capabilities, reliable and bullet proof with UEFI bios. Board has enough outlets to keep almost all happy. AND... the smaller size is fantastic... allowing smaller, lighter, cheaper cases which are more portable. Only con, for me at least, is wiring is more congested with smaller cases. Wish power supplies were available with a better selection of wiring harnesses.
