Hello and welcome! This is your opportunity to add a nice menu to your Hungry i, menu or celebrity collection. This is the spot where many a star\'s careers were solidified or found - Barbra Streisand, Mort Sahl, Lenny Bruce, Woody Allen, Glenn Yarborough, to name a few. Many live albums were recorded here, including The Kingston Trio, Tom Lehrer and many others.
The Hungry i was at this location until 1967 when it was moved to Ghirardelli Square before it\'s finally closing in 1970.
This menu is in good condition, with bent corners. The printing is clean. The prices are great - $3.00 to $4.75 for a complete dinner which included assorted hors d\'oeuvres, soup de jour, tossed green salad, garlic bread, entree, dessert and coffee. Entrees were everything from stroganoff and australian lobster tails to filet mignon and boneless squab.

HISTORY ON THESE ITEMS: I am tasked with selling the Michael P Selinsky (aka raykadin on ) Estate. Mike was my brother, and passed suddenly in December 2015. We are all sorry to see him gone, as Mike was not a one-in-a-million, but truly one of a kind... they broke the mold after they made Mike. He was a teacher, friend, musician, promoter, traveler, scholar and collector.
These items are 2 lifetimes worth of collections, and then some - some of the items belonged to our mother, Sheila Goodman, who had owned antique stores in Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada and some were Mike\'s personal collections. Over the next few months much of his collections will be sold through so keep an eye out. If there are particular items you are looking for, please send us an email through so that we can make certain we list those items for you.
