The scanner includes a modified SA-21, which makes it capable of scanning the full roll of a 35mm film (40 frames max). Upon modification, it became equivalent to the SA-30. The modification is reversible (see pic), it uses a metal pin to short two connectors. If you want to remove the modification, you can simply peel the tape and remove the pin.

To pair up with the modified SA-21, a 3D-printed storage box is also included so there would be no mess when doing full roll scanning. You can easily attach it to the back of the scanner (see overall condition is OK, there is a crack at the front panel due to a shipping issue when I purchased it. There is NO INFLUENCE on scanning, and the power button next to it works fine. This issue is a known issue of Nikon scanner, the front panel is very fragile.

The scanner functions NORMALLY. The image is crisp and clear, no issue with the scanner.

Set of manuals and warranty papers, 3 disc and 1 flash drive with drivers in it (not did not install driver and software through the flash drive. You can Google how to install driver and their Nikon Scan software. I recommend using VueScan which they handle the drivers for you.

If the modified SA-21 don’t show the capability to scan 40 frames, replug it can solve the problem.
