Upgrade your Vintage PowerMac G4/AGP Graphics, Gigabit Ethernet, Digital Audio, QuickSilver or QuickSilver 2002 model to a 1.467 GHz G4 Processor with 2 MB Backside L3 Cache and 256 KB L2 Cache.The speed is variable from 900 mHz to 1.467 gHz by a set of jumpers on the card.
Works with MacOS 9.2.1 - 10.1+.
PLEASE NOTE: Download the manual from OWC\'s website (eshop dot macsales dot com). It has a list of the jumper settings and speeds available, as well as installation instructions. The jumpers are currently set to 1.467 GHz.
If you are using an AGP tower...Make certain you update the firmware to version 4.2.8 before installing. If you don\'t,you will have to reinstall your original processor and boot into Mac OS 9to perform the update.
