#1099, Lovely Gilbreath 1930\'s Rayon SatinHoneymoon Lingerie set: Thistwo piece set is part of a Trousseau set from the 1930\'s. The nightgownis made of rayon satin, cotton insertion lace and wide lace. The robe ismade of a sheer fabric that has a silk feel but I am not for sure that it issilk. The condition is not perfect. Both the robe and the nightgown havesome tiny spots and wear from normal use. The nightgown has scatteredsmall holes. The insertion lace is done in a pattern of bows and is quiteenchanting. The label is Gilbreath size 15 which is about a size 5 today.The nightgown has a bust up to 34, a waist up to 30 and hips that are 38.There are no openings so you must wiggle into this. Remember that whenyou are offerding. My dress form is a size 5 - 6 and it fits it well, butthere is room at the waist. Its measurements are 34-24-34. The night gownhas a waist of 27, a bust of 33-34. The two piece ensemble is not in flawlesscondition but it is in wearable condition if you don\'t mind the general wearthat most of these lingerie pieces have from age and use.
