This is a really stunning little 12\" 1950\'s hard plastic doll by the English maker \'Rosebud\'. She has quite heavily molded hair that falls in curls on her forehead and at the back of her neck. Lightly painted brows, freely moving open/closing blue eyes, no damage to eyelids and 100% of original eyelashes remain. Painted lashes to lower edge of eye sockets, red painted open mouth showing 2 little upper teeth and tongue. Unblemished blush on cheeks. Impressed Rosebud in script on back of head and Rosebud(script) Made in England across her back. She has a bent limbed body that as with the head is without damage or marks and is beautifully clean. She wears what I believe are clothes from the 50\'s that are original to her - a white taffeta dress with layers of thick lace all the way down it at the back and from. There are 3 little material flowers sewn on the skirt of the dress at the front. She has a matching bonnet which ties under the chin. She has original socks and shoes which are impressed under with Made in England 03. She is in a Rosebud box which states The Worlds most Beautiful Doll created by Rosebud Dolls Ltd Raunds Northamptonshire. I have no way of knowing if this is her original box as I have no history of her - I am wondering if she looks a little small in it but the box only measures 13 1/2\" long.
