18\" MISS REVLON Ideal #0950-1956 QUEEN OF DIAMONDS in BOX Wrist-Tag & Ribbon Tag Description

Beautiful 18” Miss Revlon, circa 1956 is in very excellent condition in original box with Wrist-Tag & Ribbon Tag on her dress, perfect make-up, all-original, complete and never played with; marked: “Ideal Doll // VT-18” on head. Wrist-tag is a colorfully illustrated booklet with no rips or writing, and retaining the original string-ties. Miss Revlon has original ‘Diamond’ drop earrings, engagement ring and necklace, plus her lovely strawberry-blonde hair remains in the factory hairnet in the original curly set with bangs. Beautiful sparkling sea-blue sleep eyes with full ‘brush’ upper lashes, painted lower lashes, feathered brows, rosy cheeks, sweet red mouth and nail-polish (a few teeny paint-rubs on nails; finger is pale under her ring, tiny pale spot back of right forearm). Her vinyl is clean and supple with no fading; jointed at neck, shoulders, waist and hips with long graceful arms & legs.

Queen of Diamonds wears a gorgoues blue velveteen dress with pink taffeta sash, organdy-lined bodice and ribbon tag: “Revlon Doll by IDEAL (oval logo)”. White fur stole lined with taffeta , perfect pink taffeta & tulle petticoat with matching lace-hemmed panties; black elastic high heels and fine taupe seamed stockings are also original; none of the elastic is stretched (dress has some age-darkened spots, only noticeable up close; two tiny holes where lining rested against the necklace; nylons elastic slightly crumbled) and there are no holes. Box bottom is intact and sturdy, stamped “BLUE”, with pink liner & ties inside; illustrated lid shows wear from storage (two split corners on lid). This really is a beautiful doll in lovely condition, from a non-smoking home.
