Make sure to check out all of my sales after you\'ve looked at this one. I\'m listing an eclectic selection of museum quality antiques and collectibles, including a mint-in-box 1905 Puck cylinder phonograph and two 100+ year old disc phonographs whose condition is truly exceptional.Here\'s a beautiful 1903 Victor P disc phonograph that\'s original throughout and is in perfect working order. As you can see in the pictures, the phonograph is a gem. Original horn paint, original Nipper decal, original long-throat Victor Exhibition reproducer, original striped oxide finish on the support arm and on the bedplate (check it out -- it\'s pristine), original turntable felt, original record hold-down (something you rarely see), original motor, original gear train and governor, original crank, original brake, original leather brake shoe, original cabinet finish, original paper license on the underside of the base, Etc.In addition to retaining its original black paint, the Victor horn has no dents, no creases, no damage whatsoever -- something you rarely encounter on an original Victor horn. The brass horn elbow is likewise in nearly perfect condition, with no dents or cracks. The cabinet is superb, with an original finish that exhibits only minimal wear and no chips, no dents, no dings, no missing chunks of wood. The only thing on this phonograph that was not on it when it left the factory 110 years ago are the four felt buffers on the underside of the base. Otherewise, everything is original, and everything is correct.Like the exquisite Columbia Standard that I have listed elsewhere on this week, this Victor P is an exceptional antique phonograph that\'s about as close to the ideal Victor P as you\'re ever going to find.Plays practically all early 7\", 10\" and 12\" records -- Victor, Columbia, you name the brand. As long as the record has a conventional spindle hole, it can be played on this phonograph And records played on this phonograph sound wonderful. I\'ll include with the phonograph several early Victor records, and if you get tired of listening to them, there are plenty of other titles available on and elsewhere. Thousands of early acoustic 78 RPM records show up on on a weekly basis, and they typically sell for just a few dollars each. If you\'re not already familiar with how tooperate an early disc phonograph, don\'t worry. I\'ll provide you with simple, easy to understandset-up instructions,so you\'ll be able to use it within minutes after you unpack it and put it together.
