Make sure to check out all of my sales after you\'ve looked at this one. I\'m listing another eclectic selection of antiques and collectibles, and I suspect that there will be something of interest to just about everybody. Here\'s a 1903 Zon-O-Phone Concert phonograph that\'s in excellent working order and -- unlike most Zon-O-Phone machines that turn up for sale -- it has no replica parts. With the exception of the little rubber feet on the underside of the base, every part is a factory Zon-O-Phone part, including the scarce Concert V reproducer. As you can see in the pictures, the phonograph is gorgeous. Condition is excellent to near mint throughout, and the phonograph is original throughout. Original cabinet finish, original Zon-O-Phone and UTM cabinet decals, original turntable felt, original turntable with the original spring pin (it still works), original paper notice on the underside of the base (still complete and legible), original motor, original gearing, original governor, original crank, original support arm, original traveling arm, etc. -- it doesn\'t get much better than this. Original 24\" Zon-O-Phone horn has been professionally polished and lacquered, and the horn retains its original thumbscrew for tightening the nozzle onto the neck of the reproducer. The reproducer has legible embossed original lettering under the mica, and the nickel-plating on all of the parts and the bedplate is original and in excellent condition. No rust on the brake lever, no rust on the support arm\'s thumbscrew, no rust on the crank. There are trace amounts of oxidation on the reproducer and on the support arm, but at this point I\'m splitting hairs because, like I said, it doesn\'t get much better than this. The cabinet is immaculate. No chips, do dents, no dings, no missing chunks of wood. Just furniture quality oak that\'s clearly been pampered over the course of its lifetime. This is an exceptional, no apologies early Zon-O-Phone that will stand out in any collection. I\'ll include with the phonograph a couple of early, acoustically recorded 78 RPM records, and if you get tired of listening to them, there are plenty of other titles available on and elsewhere. Thousands of early 78\'s show up on on a weekly basis, and they typically sell for just a few dollars each. If you\'re not already familiar with how tooperate an early disc phonograph, don\'t worry. I\'ll provide you with simple, easy to understandset-up instructions,so you\'ll be able to use it within minutes after you unpack it and put it together.
