The compass and level are working withno broken glass, and all fluid inside and the bubble level lines areaccurate.The Angle meter and top brass plate are marked THE AMERICAN COMBINED LEVER AND GRADE FINDER PATENTED AND MANUFACTURED BY EDWARD HEHB RAILROAD PA. with a patent date on the meter July 12th, 1904. Overall the wood and brass havea nice aged patina with some staining / discoloration and signs of normal use plus one missing brass screw in one end plate.There are also small wood splits above and below the LONGITUDINAL RECESS VIEW Brass that are not structurally significant.
