NEARLY 100 YEARS OLD - WALLKILL RIVER WORKS, WALDEN, NY 2-BLADE WOODEN HANDLED POCKET KNIFE 1920- 1931
InVERY NICEVINTAGE CONDITION.
BLADES ARE TIGHT. The end of the large blade may have a tiny chip off the end.
WALLKILL RIVER WORKS KNIFE FACTORY (of the NYK Co.)was located in the old cottonmill factory on the Wallkill River from 1856 to 1880.

NYK made knives under NYK until 1880, then they started another line HAMMER, in 1903 ( Thomas Bradley ) sold the plant to the Fuller Bros ( previously of the Electric knife company Newark). In 1920 the Wallkill River line was introduced as a lower cost line of knives to better compete. They were made from 1920 until 1931. Do to the depression causing a business decline. in 1930 the company held an sale where they sold a years worth of product (they went out of business in 1931).
