Very rare and original, 1920\'s Chromolithograph, Die Cut, Paperboard Advertising Sign for Chesterfield Cigarettes (manufactured by Liggett & Meyers Tobacco Company).

This outstanding, Chesterfield Cigarettes Advertising Sign measures approx. 25\" by 19\" and is printed on a heavy weight, paperboard stock. The Sign is die cut in a marquis style shape and features a bust portrait of a handsome young man enjoying a smoke. Text to the left and right of the portrait reads \"They Satisfy\" and \"I Like \'em\". Text below the portrait reads \"Chesterfield / of Finest Turkish and Domestic Tobaccos - blended\".

The Sign originally had a folding, easel type stand attached at the back and was meant to be displayed on a large countertop. While the Sign is not dated and does not carry a manufacturer\'s mark, the style of the lithography and of the image allows us to date it to the 1920\'s.

This wonderful 1920\'s Chesterfield Cigarette Advertising Sign is not a reproduction, reissue or restrike but is an original Advertising Sign manufactured in the 1920\'s to promote the sale of Chesterfield Cigarettes.

This rare and attractive, original 1920\'s Chesterfield Cigarettes Advertising Sign is in very good condition. The chromolithography is of a high quality and the Sign displays nicely. There is a crease at the base of the die cut \"ear\" on the left hand side and a crease at the lower right hand corner both of which have been reinforced on the back. There is some very light soiling and addition light edge wear along the bottom edge. The Sign lacks the original, folding easel stand on the reverse.
