This is a really unusual clockwork toy that was made in Germany c.1920\'s. The windup still runs but the clown does not move back up.  It is supposed to bend forward to pick up the weight in his mouth, raise up, then bend back down and release the weight.  The weight is stuck in his mouth and won\'t release, but for a while I had it so it was released, but the clown still woudn\'t move up.  The mechanism needs some adjustment.  The base measures 5.75\" x 4\".  

CONDITION:  The windup mechanism runs, but the weight doesn\'t release and the clown doesn\'t move upright.  The litho is in excellent condition, but there is some overall scratching as shown, and a small spot of corrosion on the front of the base.  The weight has some slight bends in the sides.
