The item up for sale is an original antique game, in its original box, made circa 1922-1923.The box top reads "Flivver Game. 4473. Made in USA. Milton Bradley Co. Springfield, Mass. USA."The game itself is not dated. The game has been dated 1922 by the Board Game Geek website and 1923 by the Game Catalog of the American Game Collectors Association.Flivver is a slang term for a Model T Ford.The game is has its folding playing board; spinner card (a Model T printed on thick card stock with spinning wheels); and 1 metal toy car (missing 3 cars.)The directions are printed on the underside of the box lid.

The box measures 17 inches long X 8 3/4 inches wide X 1 1/2 inches high.

The box lid is in good condition aside from wear to the edges, foxing spots, small stains in the upper right corner, a small split on the right edge & upper left edge and soiling. All of the corners are all still intact on the lid.

The lower box has a split in 1 corner; and indentations on the right & left sides of the underside. The underside has an old price sticker for $135.

The playing board is in good condition aside from being very slightly warped and light soiling.

The spinner card is age toned and has minor foxing spots.

The metal car has small paint losses on the edges.

The game came from the estate of Alex G. Malloy, who is the author of "American Games: Comprehensive Collector's Guide." (Krause Publications, 1999.)Buyer to pay actual shipping cost by weight & location, via USPS for a 1+ lb to 2 lb package.
