I am selling my 1928 38h Conn ballroom  Trombone. This instrument  is in amazing shape with a beautiful gold wash in the bell and highly polished silver plating. Included are the original case, mouthpiece, slide oil, cleaning rod, music sheet holder, and receipt of purchase from 1928. The case is in great shape with the exception of water damage on the bell end of the case( shown in pictures).  The trombone just came back from the music store where it received new corks on the slide and spittle valve. The only damage is three very tiny dents,all very close together on the bell from where the previous owner left the mouthpiece in while shutting the case, the damage is shown in the pictures. The slide has no wear at all and moves very feely. I bought this from an antique shop in Portland Maine, also where the trombone was originally purchased based on the receipt. I am thinking that someone bought this instrument and then stored it for a very long time due to its near perfect condition. The 38h model has the tuning slide in the front making this particular model even more desirable. This trombone plays very crisp and is very responsive.
