Great restorable (or show as-is) 1948 Schwinn Spitfire DX 26\" balloon tire bicycle. This appears to be all original and complete except for the headlight cover and some paint touch-up. Tires are period, shot. Sweetheart skiptooth. Rough but good bones. Badged \"Our Own Hardware\", \"EZ Speed\". Great for a restoration or show as-is. Nice patina. The chainguard and rear rack are sitting a little askew as they are not attached/bolted together. I just sat them there for the pictures. The pedals are 2 different types though period, so one is not original.
