This transitional 1950 Libby by Vogue dolls is lovely and in wonderful condition for her age, but not mint. She has a couple of flaws that I believe must be factory flaws as I am sure she was never played with. She has two small places on her torso (see photos) that must be some defect from the factory. The other is the split at her hip (see photos).

Aside from that, she has gorgeous coloring, is nicely strung, and has NO cheek rubs to that beautiful transitional cheek color. Her original mohair wig is in very nice condition with original set. Ever so slightly mussed from the hat being put on/off a few times. 

Her taffeta dress is the blue version, with blue Bertha collar and two tiny pink flocked flowers on collar. It is tagged appropriately and is still crisp, a little flat in the back from storage. Matching panties are a little stretched at the waist, but do stay up. 

The correct hat still has the original flowers and chin strap. The hat would have been more blue when it was new. Original rubber band around her wig. 

Libby\'s original blue centersnap shoes and socks are excellent, with smooth soles. She also carries the original and correct white purse. This doll is pictured in the pink/blonde version in The Ginny Doll Encyclopedia on page 32. 

A wonderful addition to any Ginny collection, even though she is not mint. Please read the description carefully and view the photos closely. Ask any questions prior to offerding.
