History:FordJubilee Tractor:Inlate 1952 Ford introduced the new NAAseries tractor for 1953 which marked the end of 8N production.1953 was Ford\'s50th anniversary so the new tractor was called the “GoldenJubilee” incelebration of that event. The NAA - Jubilee had a morepowerful overhead valveengine, live hydraulics, and redesigned front sheet metal. Itwas slightlytaller, longer, and heavier than the 8N. The NAA was theactual modeldesignation for these 1953 & 54 tractors. The \"N\" wasFord\'sdesignation for the tractor line as in the 8N, etc. Varioussources givedifferent explanations for the \"A\" designations in NAA. TheNAA wasthe gas-burner and the NAB was the kerosene-burning version.

TheGoldenJubilee logo was used to celebrate the 50th anniversary of thefoundingof Ford. The design that year of the new model Golden JubileeTractor in 1953incorporated a new 31 HP, 134 cubic inch overhead valve \"REDTIGER\"engine and live power take-off option. The Golden Jubileefeatured a\"tunnel top\" hood design crowned by the emblem, a designelement thatremained until the early 1960\'s. The Jubilee is well known byenthusiasts to beable to do anything for its size that is needed, plus they areeasy to work on,tough and strong. All reasons they continue to appreciate invalue and are justas popular these days as they were 50 years ago.

Theallnew NAA carried a front hood emblem identifying it as the\"Ford GoldenJubilee Model 1903-1953”. This was from 1953 Serial number #NAA 1 to # NAA77474. From serial # NAA 77475 to NAA 128965 the front Jubileehood emblem wasthe same size and shape with a similar design, but did nothave the GoldenJubilee name and Ford anniversary date listed on it anymore, though it wasstill called the NAA and/or Jubilee. Otherwise there were nochanges to thetractor, though some 1954\'s had an improved hydraulic system. One uniquefeature of all the NAA Jubilees was the tool box in the leftrunning board.

TheJubileeis seen as the transitional model in the Ford line sharingmany parts, specifications, and features with both its predecessor andsuccessor. It wasFord\'s last tractor to be their only model available in agiven year. In 1955,and later, they rolled out the 600’s, 800’s and the other 700,900, 2000, etc.that followed in the late 50\'s and 1960\'s on.
