1960s WHEEL-A-GEAR ROBOTAn original WHEEL-A-GEAR ROBOT made by Taiyo Japan in the 1960s. He features battery operated action including WALKS WITH SWINGING ARMS, GEARS AND WHEELS WITH MACHINE NOISE, COLOR WHEEL SPINS WITH BLINKING LIGHT, BIG EYES GAZE AND MOVE, and RED HEAD LIGHT BLINKS. Telescoping antenna is affixed to his back pack. Rates a C9 with much gloss and a clean plastic chest plate. Battery box is clean. No cracks or breaks to the plastic legs or arms. Comes in the ORIGINAL artwork box which is near excellent with bright color, some creasing and a tear to the lower part of one corner. Works strong as seen in the video below. The band that moves the gears has hardened over the years so the the gears do not turn (As they all do. If one is found working that means the belt has been replaced). About 14” tall. !
