Description

If you like COOL, if you like UNIQUE, if you like RARE, this may be the perfect bike for you!

Here is a rare original 1960s SPYDER VII 20\" muscle bike. The previous owner thought this one was new around 1969 (The Serial Number is 9H463362) I believe these were manufactured by Murray and sold under the Sears brand. This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike is in very original condition. In fact, as far as I can tell, NEARLY every single part of this bike is original. (see pics and be your own judge) This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it!

*The bike has a COOL factory blue paint and decals. I have never seen another one like this! It has a very unique chrome CHAINGUARD! This one has a frame mounted 3-speed STICK SHIFTER, wide apehanger handlebars, cool white hand grips, cool rear sissy bar, very unique \"Rally\" banana seat, (Im guessing this is not orignal for the bike, has a rip at the tip) a LARGE rear brake caliper almost like the Schwinn Krate bikes have and so much more! Check out the big wide 20x2.125 SLICK rear tire! It has the 20x1.75 front tire and chrome rims front and rear! The bike is an original three speed with operable hand controlled brakes. The bike brakes but has been in long term storage and should be adjusted. (when I originally purchased this one it was shifting, it seems to not be shifting properly right now)

*This bike is amazing! ! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! I have seen and owned numerous Schwinn Stingray and Krate bikes over the years. I have NEVER even SEEN another one like this! For the person who may not want to collect the same things as everyone else! This bike is treuely amazing and I hope it gets a great new home!

*Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out , the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

*NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is ok! The chrome is shiney but shows age and is not perfect show quality. (it looks quite nice though, see pics) Both wheels have a wobble when you spin them. (every used bike out there seems to) I believe the front rim/wheel was replaced or the front brake caliper as it does not hit ths side of the rim. (not a huge deal but I like to be honest, see pics) OVERALL this one is cool but not flawless. I think it has survived relativley well for being a 40+ year old boys bicycle! Most were beaten, abused, and thrown away decades ago! This is so cool to see! If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you offer.

*Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. This awesome ride starts low with ABSOLUTELY so offer early and don\'t miss out! This will sell to the high buyer! Sorry, no buy it now is offered. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! Sold as is because it is used. I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.
