This is a 1980\'s computer w/ a handle (one of the first portable computers), the COMPAQ Portable III 286 with Gas Plasma Screen, 640k Memory, 20MB Hard Drive, MS-DOS 5.0, 5.25\" Slim floppy drive in working condition. The cmos battery is 30+ years old and needs to be changed but for now it is working with boot disk. Hard to believe in the 1980\'s this computer went for $6,000 to $10,000 but back then not everyone had a computer. This computer also comes with the original carry bag. Hard to find one of these in this good condition and working.
These are the coolest computers! The keyboard unlocks and drops down. The plasma monitor with its orange retro display can move upward and tilt backwards or forwards for better viewing. You can also attach to an external monitor (14-pin cable).
Included with this computer: 1 black compaq carrying bag, 1 computer plug (i.e. power cord), 1 boot disk.
A little much, but I gotta say it...
Please note: This is a vintage computer and is being sold \"as-is\". It is in good cosmetic condition and is a working computer. The battery for this computer is old and barely holds its charge and needs to start with a boot diskette (included). The keyboard cabling had some cracking consistent with its age. Please consider these things before purchasing as there is no warranty or refund on this computer.
