This is a nice looking and original condition stoneware 4 gallon ovoid shaped crock made in the mid 19thc by Thomas D Chollae of Cortland NY... . features a blue design on exterior with squiggly fern leaves and is signed with impressed mark with blue....its in nice overall structural condition -has 2 small hairlines on the front-one extends about 1/2 way down..backside rim has 2 nicks......surface has normal color variations from the manufacturing process -...measures 14\" x 13 1/2\" ...looks nice displayed in a country cupboard etc- guaranteed original and authentic ........
