The rk35xx family of chipsets are Rockchips current top of line for the SBC pi types.

Rk3566 and its very very similar rk3568 are common chipsets in current game handhelds, tablets and cm4 footprint module or  SoM and media boxes as well as other SBCs from rising companies like Radxa, Luckfox, Friendly Elec and Pine64.

This is much more advanced modern CPU and opensource/libre compliant then the bcm2837xx found on rpi3b+ and its family(pizerow2 cm3+ rpi3A+). And more choice for media and emulation .

Simply search \"rk3566\" shows this Rockchip seems to be a well supported and popular choice .

Compatible with  cases that can accept rpi B+,2B,3B,3B+. If a case would fit both a 2B and a 3B in general would fit this. if a case accepts one B+ shaped model and not the others listed it may or may not fit. The coupe layer cases can be more specific to model( may not fit correct) where as most box shaped cases with lids fit the general family of rpi B+ to 3B footprint and would fit this)

Combo\'ed with NPU(in this and some other rockchip CPUs), you require no extra hardware or add-on components to start developing and playing with deep learning, machine learning, and other NPU development. Rknn toolset for native running a.i. is available on github for download or clone.

The current Armbian/Debian or Opi OS linux (sudo apt-get...  installer script type linux syntax) will be  pre-installed on a 32gb microSD seen in 1st picture to boot from when it arrives.
