This has no throttles or hard caps. You can use an unlimited amount of data - forget counting gigabytes!! You can use it for home internet tooand cut the (cable) cord! The router features four Ethernet ports as well as Wi-Fi, and you can extend that with an Ethernet switch/hub - just like any traditional router.
The device and data is no-contract, managed locally. There is no obligation to continue using the router, though you can continue to renew if you would like.
