The PoE 8186 SIP horn is an outdoor-rated IP speaker for voice paging, emergency alerting, and loud ringing applications. This IP speaker is also a fully compliant 3rd party SIP endpoint. As a result, the 8186 IP horn speaker is compatible with most hosted / cloud and premise-based VoIP telephone systems. The Algo 1186 is perfect for machine shops, outdoor work yards, factories, warehouses, and even lunchrooms.

Description

The Algo 8186 SIP IP Loud Ringer and Paging Speaker features multiple SIP extensions for voice paging and notification capability (50 page zones) or direct extension paging by registration. Extensions can be registered with most any premise or hosted Communication Server supporting 3rd party SIP endpoints independent of a telephone (no IP telephone is required). Multicast Support allows for use with multiple device to device receive or broadcast. Wideband G.722 codec support provides optimum speech clarity and intelligibility in an HD Voice environment. Voice paging and notification announcements are easier to understand, particularly in noisy environments. Emergency alerts feature by extension. For additional functionality, consider adding the Algo 1202 or Algo 1203 illuminated call button to your order. The recommended installer should be familiar with configuration and programming of Voice over IP devices via web-based graphical user interface. Hardware installation must be connected to a 2 Gang Electrical Box (not included) using the supplied gasket for weatherproof installation outdoors. Requires Power over Ethernet. If PoE is not available, use PoE Injector. Does not support direct power connection - PoE Only. See manufacturer's website for specifications, new features, and required firmware updates. A basic understanding of computer networking and Voice over IP experience is recommended.




The Algo 1186 is a weatherproof Horn Speaker selected for use with Algo's 8180 SIp Audio Alerter and the 1825 Duet Plus Loud Ringer. The Algo 1186 is ideal for loud ringing, voice paging and even notification alerting applications in high ambient noise or outdoor environments.
