Up for sale is one (1) piece of Apple 1 computer re-plica bare board for those who like to collect exactly period match components and do the assembly job themselves. This is a fresh build of boards, always same price as before.
This board has been made with months of research to the images of original Apple 1 and schematics and electrically tested. This is a reproduction of the non-NTI version of the Apple 1 and it is different from the NTI-version which was sold before. They look quite different in terms of soldermask and components used; this one has matt green soldermask and without the NTI logo below the \"Apple Computer 1\" marking, the last picture shows how an original non-NTI Apple 1 is looked like. To make this board looks closer to the printed circuits as commonly seen in the 70s, obsolete processing technique has been adopted and white color base material is used.
Apple fan should know that Steve Jobs would spend a lot of time on something invisible to the customers and he had a special taste on how to components should be placed and wires should go on the original Macintosh motherboard and I believe he should have practiced in the same way in the Apple 1 project back in 1976. In fact, a couple of people frame the board instead of stuffing components, they said Apple 1 motherboard is just one of the beautiful circuit they have ever seen.
