For sale is a PowerBook 140 with 8MB of RAM and 40MB SCSI drive. Comes with original Japanese keyboard, running System 6.0.7. (Japanese), and includes original PowerBook AC adapter (M5651 / not pictured). Does not come with battery.
A number of maintenance/service has been performed:
- PowerBook has had all capacitors replaced in the display board.
- A small crack near either side of the hinges has been carefully repaired.
- As common on all early PowerBook models, the internal screw standoffs have all been either reinforced or repaired.
The screen is in excellent clean and good working condition. The case has some signs of wear, marks and scratches, but overall looks very good for its age. Please judge based on the photos! Floppy drive has been tested.
The computer has been tested and everything runs great and as expected, but please be aware that - as always - this is a vintage computer, knowledge of its era is required, and there is no long term guarantee. If there are any questions, please send a message!
