The Apple Think Different Genius Biographies and Educators Letter were companion materials included with the ten ”Think Different\" posters from Apple’s Think Different advertising campaign sent to educators in the late 1990’s.
Upon his return to Apple one of Steve Job’s top priorities was the renewal of its image. Lee Clow and his team from TBWA Chiat/Day advised him that Apple should be aligned with the creativity of personalities and people making an impact on the twentieth century and presented a new slogan for Apple’s advertising ads: “Think Different” in response to IBM’s historic \"Think” campaign motto.
The campaign consisted of two main parts; television commercials and a print campaign.
The Apple Genius Biographies and Educators Letter introduces the “Geniuses”, their accomplishments, and celebrates their lives and creativity. They are very rare as they were not made available to the general public, only to educators.
The Think Different Advertising Genius Biographies (4 pages) and Educator Letter (1 page) introduces and details the accomplishments of:
