I believe it will have iOS 8 installed from the factory.The wrapping has some scuffs and the box corners have wear.You may not receive the exact one pictured since we have several.

There is a chance that the battery has gone bad from sitting and not being charged for so long.Also since this device has iOS 8, some of the apps no longer function because Apple stopped supporting them. It would have to be updated but iOS 12 is the latest release this device could run. It could still have troubles with iOS 12. Before buying, if you are planning to use it double check if your apps will function correctly.
