Up for sale is a boxed Atari 400 computer. This is for the box,computer, manual, coaxialadapter,Atari BASIC cartridgeand C017945power supplyonly.
Testing: The keyboard works fine (see picture). I played the game Star Raiders (not included) and it worked fine. I booted to BASIC and loaded a BASIC program showing the BASIC version via SIO cable proving the SIO peripheral port works. No SIO cable is included in this listing. Atari BASIC cartridge (version A) is included (see picture). All 4 controller ports were tested and work by playing Atari Basketball (not included).
Note: I could be wrong,butI believe this has extra memory because when I typed in FRE(0) in BASIC it showed 37902 which is the same amount of free memory that the Atari 800XL has after BASIC is loaded. Also, the sticker on the computer says its performance is boosted by mosaic memory. Whatever that means.
This is being shipped via UPS ground. It will be shipped in a heavy-duty outer box in order to help protect the Atari 400 box and computer. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
This is being sold as is for parts with no returns. This is due to the fact that dishonest people will swap out the good chips with bad ones and then return the computer saying that it doesn't work. Please read my responses and buy with confidence.
