  • Cables that connect components

  • 6 used digital data packs (cassettes) that can be re-formatted and reused.
  • Composite cable to connect to TV
  • Extra ferrite bead (cable shield)
Condition:
I\'ve plugged it in, tested it, and found that everything\'s working:
  • It powers on, typewriter mode works, word processor mode works.
  • Cassette drive works: SmartBASIC, programs, documents, and Buck Rogers game load up and work.
  • Both joysticks work
  • Roller controller works
  • Both included game cartridges work
  • Daisywheel printer works, and its ribbon even still has ink.
The only problems I found were:
  • Sometimes when it powers on, there are graphical glitches on the screen. Powering it off and back on usually fixes them.
  • Sometimes when I run a game cartridge, there are graphical glitches or it doesn\'t work. Powering off, removing and re-inserting the cartridge, and powering back on has fixed most of these.
  • I\'ve seen some graphical glitches (vertical lines on sprites) that seem to occur every time I\'ve run the two included cartridge games. Gameplay seems unaffected however.
  • The joysticks work, but require a lot more force to register movement or button presses than they used to.
Because of these issues, and the fact that it\'s vintage 1983 and may be shipped, it is being sold AS IS.
