I have a Commodore 1541 floppy disk drive and takes a single 5.25\" disk. It was made in Japan and comes with the original box, user guide and power cord. This was pulled from a working environment. It was connected to a Commodore 64 computer. However, it has been awhile, so I do not know if it still works.
I did power it on and put in a floppy disk and you can hear it working inside to read the disk. But without the C64 computer, I am unable to fully test it. This comes with the original box and Styrofoam packaging, the 1541 user guide booklet and the power cord. As mentioned above, it has been used before, so there is some wear and tear. It also has some minor damage to it.
There is a crack in the plastic on the front part of this drive, as seen in the photos. Also, a small piece of plastic on the back left corner has broken off. I also uploaded a photo showing what I am referring too. You can review the photos provided for this listing to get a better idea of the overall look and condition of this item.
