What is a Pi1541?

- Well the Pi1541 is a real time cycle exact commodore 1541 disk driveemulator that will run on the cheap and economically priced Raspberry Pi Zero.

- The Pi1541 is able to emulate the 6502cpu and 6522 CIA's of the 1541 drive sowell that there is basically 100% compatibility allowing you to run all yourfavourite image files from a standard micro SD card such as:

- D64, D81, PRG, G64,NIB, NBZ files

- Multi-disk images

- Demos and originaldisk image files

- Commodore 1581 drive emulationis also supported

- Jiffydos 1541 and1581 roms supported

- Writing support for D64and G64

- Extremely easy to use. Fit your Raspberry Pi Zero and configured SD Card. Simply plug into your cartridge port, plug in theIEC cable and you are ready to go. Navigate files and folders via the browsersoftware or preferably the cart buttons (select, previous, next, back, insert)and the OLED 0.96” display!

How good is the Pi1541?

- Well from my testing I have been able to load CSDB demos and originaldisk images that fail to run on my 1541-ultimate II cartridge which is consideredthe gold standard in 1541 emulation. You should not be disappointed!
