Compaq Presario 9546 Desktop Computer Windows 95 Pentium Retrogaming WORKING
The listing is for the computer/desktop ONLY; there are no cables, no monitor, no mouse, and no keyboard included.
The computer is fully working with a fresh install of the Compaq version of Windows 95 for this system.
The case was blown out from dust as it was EXTREMELY dusty inside (some residual dust in hard to reach places is still present).
The computer sides and front bezel were disassembled and cleaned (some scuffs/scratches are still present as some are through the paint). There is some scuffs and oxidation on the metal chassis from age and not being kept in the best environment.The only issue that had occurred was the original battery was a soldered-on version and was removed. A new battery and battery holder was installed, but because of the way the previous battery was, a wire and an off-angle install was required. It functions well though and maintains the time and date as well as system settings (unless it is off for weeks on end; as is the normal case with any computer).The CD drive had the laser assembly cleaned and lubed for optimal function.

The sound card has been configured for usage in DOS and works well. Both the floppy and CD-ROM drive work well with no issues. This is a great computer for the mid 90's era that will run most MS-DOS and early Pentium games not requiring 3D acceleration well. I used the machine for several days playing games and installing programs without any issues.
With that being said, please be familiar with older operating systems and their quirks and inherent issues. All items are 100% authentic original pieces unless otherwise noted.
