For sale is an extremely rare DOVE COMPUTER MaraThon 030 SE Upgrade with a 16 (or possible 20MHz) 68030.
Upgrades the Apple Macintosh SE into an SE/30 equivalent. Comes with drivers on floppy. Doubles CPU speed from 8MHz to 16MHz (or possibly 20MHz – as the 68030 installed is a 20MHz variety), 68000 to 68030, easy to install/remove due to its KILLY socket, and installs easily, reversibly and non-destructively on top of the original 68000. Because it is installed directly on the CPU, the PDS (expansion slot) can be used for other extensions in parallel!
In benchmark, the CPU execution speed triples.
