This laptop began life as a Lenovo Chromebook that was then flashed with a custom BIOS and loaded with Debian Linux (11th Edition, Xfce Window Manager). The result is a lightweight, super portable machine that makes a great inexpensive travel computer. Very discrete, it looks like a simple Chromebook but boots to Linux in around 20 seconds. Would be great for learning Linux without risking your primary machine. All drivers have been loaded and the bugs worked out; the laptops functions as expected (Wi-Fi, Audio, Bluetooth, Webcam etc. all tested) except for the internal microphone, which will not record. The top row shortcut keys function as normal function keys but could be remapped as you see fit. There is around 7GB of storage space for your own applications.

Debian ships with Libre Office, a very capable open-source MS Office replacement. Libre Office natively supports all Office file types (.doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, etc.) and does not charge yearly subscription fees as Microsoft now does.

The screen is in good condition with no cracks on the glass or scratches. Plastic case show light cosmetic scratches. The battery holds a charge for several hours and the computer ships with the OEM charger.
