[zipedit]Dell Latitude D830 Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo T7500 2.20GHz 4gb RAM 160gb HD (A0905)Here is a real clean Dell Latitude D830 for being almost 16 years old. This laptop had a ship date of 15 Nov 2008 according to the Dell service website.This laptop is as shown as in the pictures. Be sure to look at all of them closely. The inside of the laptop is really clean. The screen is clean and I did not see any dead pixels. The top cover has many noticeable scratches and scuff marks as shown in the pictures. There are also the usual very faint scratches that I could not get pictures of that will be normal with a laptop of this age. This laptop originally had Vista Business on it. I downgraded it to Windows XP. Windows XP is activated.The PCCard slot release button is broken off.The bottom labels are in good shape with one label having some very heavy scratches. The Windows COA is for Vista Business. It has a 90w AC adapter (PA-10 Family) as required for this model.Memory is upgraded to 4gb.I am including a Dell FDDM-101 Floppy Drive Module that is hot swappable with the CD drive! These usually sell for $16-20 on ! These were tested by copying a file to the disc and then formatting the disc.I tested the optical drive (Dell 0CD655; Model DW-Q58A-DM) by:

• Playing a short clip on a DVD movie
• Copied a few files to a DVD-RW disk

Software:

• Windows XP with Service Pack 3 installed (With Installation CD to SP2)
• White disk has a backup of all the drivers and installed programs. I burned that using the onboard DVD-RW.

I installed a new BIOS battery. This battery keeps the time in check and keeps other system resources running. This battery is a separate battery from the laptop battery.
I installed a new AFTERMARKET battery and I am including a Dell branded battery that seems to hold a good charge, however, the batteries are sold AS-IS.30-Day Return Policy if not as advertised.
