* Installed a new motherboard (OEM).
* Replaced two of the processors (new).* Replaced one power supply.These machines are old but they\'re beasts, don\'t let anyone tell you otherwise. They are great for a webserver, DB, crypto nodes, file server, email, etc. I used it for running a bitcoin and litecoin node. While running both (after the initial block download) the server load never broke 0.2.
It has 48 cores, 128gb\'s of RAM, dual 1100w power supplies, 4 x Gigabit Ethernet cards... I\'ve had a few of these machines and each one has kept an uptime of over a year without skipping a beat.The server does not come with hard drives. It does come with the 6x2.5\" caddies. I suggest SSD\'s with a RAID10 configuration.
***You\'ll find a few of these listed, but I promise you\'ll run into issues. Just because it says it boots into BIOS doesn\'t mean it\'s in working condition. If you have a broken socket on the board or a processor issue, it will still boot into the BIOS, and may boot into the OS, but it will only be running with two processors and half the RAM. I\'ve had this issue with two of these machines, thus the new board and processors****If you have ANY issues with these machines the cost of replacing the board and or chip(s) will be more than what the box is worth! This is the one you want, look no further!*
