If you require the drive for SMART TV, please let us know and we will format it for you.

- If you require the drive for a games console, you will also need to follow the steps below for your particular machine. This can only be carried out on YOUR console.

For PS4:1. Connect your external hard drive to the Playstation using the USB cable.2. Go to settings, then devices, then it will come up with external storage as one of the options.
3. Select extended storage and tell the Playstation to format it (just follow the prompts)
It will then come up with a message saying it's ready.

For XBox One:1. Connect your external hard drive to an Xbox One USB port. An on-screen pop up will display.2. Select Format storage device3. Enter a name for the drive using the on-screen keyboard4.
