Item Description and Condition

Up for sale is a fully tested, absolutely flawless, brand new condition, genuine Dell USB 2.0 Circuit Board with Connector Ribbon Cable (DP/N 7J9T7) for all Inspiron 14R-5437 and Latitude 3440 laptops. The powered USB port is compliant with both USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. If you\'ve somehow managed to damage your original USB jack, then this unit is a straight-forward, perfect, drop-in replacement that will have your laptop working again in just an hour or so!

This USB 2.0/1.1 circuit board is guaranteed - and warranted for a full 30 days, see details below - to be in 100% perfect condition! This particular unit is from a new Inspiron 14R-5437 (leftover stock, bought in a lot with several others) that arrived with a bad motherboard. Before being listed on , was thoroughly tested in a lab system and certified to be in absolutely flawless condition.

Compatibility Info

This USB circuit board can be used in any Inspiron 14R-5437 or Latitude 3440 laptop. It may also fit other Dell laptop models (possibly the 14R-5421), but I\'m not 100% certain, and compatibility is only guaranteed for the above-mentioned models.

Warranty and Return Info

The 30-day warranty included with this Dell USB circuit board only covers defects in the item itself not already disclosed (none, in this case), and is limited to...

  • Replacement of the part with one of similar type/quality if available,

  • Repair of the item by seller if possible, or

  • Refund of the actual item purchase price if a replacement is not available and repair is not possible.

Choice of remedy is at seller\'s discretion, and buyer is responsible for shipping fees. In addition, any warranty claim absolutely MUST be handled directly through the seller - replacement or repairs performed by the buyer or by a third party will not be reimbursed by the seller unless advanced, written approval was granted!

Additional warranty limitations - These may seem obvious, but here they are anyway...

  • This warranty does not cover damage caused by the installation of this item by someone unqualified to perform the work (a licensed computer repair facility or Dell-certified tech is certainly qualified; many average home hackers are not!).

  • This warranty does not cover damage caused by screw-ups like bent pins/connectors caused by mishandling the device,

  • This warranty does not cover damage caused by modifications to the device,

  • This warranty does not cover damage caused by out-of-spec use (e.g., over-clocking, over-volting, baking it in the summer sun, taking your laptop with you into the shower, etc.).

I generally accept \"buyer\'s remorse\" returns of most items if you change your mind about a purchase. The returned item must, of course, be in the exact same condition as when originally shipped, and all returns must be requested within 7 days of receipt of the item. Additionally, returns may be subject to a \"restocking\" fee of between 10% and 20% of the total sale price plus shipping.
