Unbranded controller is electrically identical to the (open sourced) x controllerSo the controller is indeed compatible with older versions of the x carve type CNCsas well as with the current version - it's also compatible with other CNCs in fact. If you use easel, then it's seen as any normal x controller (as the electric circuitry is the same as x controllers)
It works with both 230V as well as 110V. In fact, we can either put an auto-voltage detecting power supply in it (Mean Well RSP 320 24) or a pre-set voltage power supply in it (Mean Well LRS 350 24 - so then it has 30W more power). We use Mean Well.
